1. Discuss the role of bile acids in the health and disease.  Review the indications for measurement of bile acids.
2. Discuss the impact of clinical governance on the clinical biochemistry laboratory..
3. Critically discuss the role of tumour markers in screening for cancer.
4. Write an essay on phaeochromocytoma with an emphasis upon the role of the laboratory in the overall process of diagnosis and management of patients with the disease.
