Include in your answer a description of the typical features of these laboratory markers in anaemia of chronic disease and describe how you would identify iron deficiency anaemia in patients with anaemia of chronic disease.
- Discuss the role of genetic testing in the diagnosis of haemochromatosis.
- Write an essay on the principles of chromatography illustrating your answers with examples of clinical applications.
- Write an essay on the analytical aspects of investigation of the porphyrias.
