- Discuss the logical investigation of a patient with hyper-calcaemia.
- Discuss the regulation and release of pituitary hormones.
- Briefly describe the metabolism of vitamin D in health and disease and outline laboratory methods used for it’s measurement.
- Write an essay on one of the following topics: -

- a) the principles of atomic absorption spectrophotometry and it’s application in laboratory medicine.
- Or
- b) interference in immunoassays used in clinical medicine.
